The Chrysler 300 won't be produced after this year, but

not before the manufacturer makes a big clearance with its full-size sedan.

The 2023 Chrysler 300c, a limited-edition model

that puts the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 last under the hood of the sedan,

made its debut Tuesday ahead of the 2022 Detroit Auto Show.

Consider it a new 300 SRT8, a vehicle Chrysler that was discontinued in the US

but continues to sell in other countries. With 485 horsepower

and 475 pound-feet of torque, the 2023 300C can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

The 300C sits on distinctive 20-inch wheels covered in all-season tires

and features a four-piston Brembo front brake, a limited-slip rear differential,

variable suspension damping, and an active exhaust to improve performance.
